Rahad River
The Rahad is a river whose sources are in Ethiopia, where it is called Shinfa, and a tributary of the Abay (Blue Nile) on the right side.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/489633/Rahad-River )〕 The river has its origins in the Ethiopian Highlands, from where it flows 480 kilometers into eastern Sudan.
